Frances (she/her) is a Filipina artist. Born in Los Angeles, raised in Hong Kong, went to London, UK for her Bachelor’s degree, and finally moved to Brooklyn in 2016. She’s been tattooing since the age of 17, and has been on a mission to integrate her fine art practice into tattooing.

Her creative practice puts the body at the forefront of her work, and by adorning it with permanent paintings allows space for tattoo collectors to see value in it. Through working intimately with the body, Frances creates pieces centered around new ways of looking at skin; working with birth and stretch marks or scarring, in hopes that those wearing it feel like a genuine work of art.

Maggie (she/her) is from Buffalo, NY and lives in NJ with her partner, many plants, and two dogs. Her tattoos are inspired by mid-century modern design and illustration, family memories, and by collecting vintage American ephemera.

For Maggie, tattooing is a safe place to tell and exchange stories, revisit family memories and relish in nostalgia, all of which informs her practice.

Kaci (she/her) is a Chinese-American artist who received her Bachelor’s of Science in Ecology at Rutgers University. While finishing her degree and working in conservation biology research, she took an interest in and pursued tattooing. The majority of her art and tattoo inspiration is drawn from her fondness for nature and wildlife, and her favorite subject matter is birds. She is grateful that tattooing has given her the opportunity to remain immersed in naturalist circles while running a creative practice. In her free time, Kaci enjoys cooking, folk music, and trying local natural wines.

Celeste’s (she/her) stories connect large meaningful distant concepts with seemingly tiny little bridges. On the surface, her images and writings are child-like and sincere, but underneath is a deep world of inner-contemplation from the mind of a woman who has dedicated her life to pondering. Her works span from animated short films to illustrated children's books, play writing, and currently a young-adult graphic novel and tattoos.

Michelle (she/her) founded Yarrow Studio in 2019. Originally from Miami, she has since relocated to Brooklyn where she enjoys personalizing her clients tattoos with a focus on flora and fauna. Things she likes: pothos plants, botanical books, her two cats Lucia and Julio, true crime podcasts, ketchup and fries.

Evan (he/him) was born and raised in rural Idaho, he moved to Brooklyn in 2013 to receive his Masters in Fine Art at Pratt Institute. After graduation, Evan took interest in tattooing while working as a wallpaper screen printer and freelance designer. He continues to explore his passion for textiles and wallpaper through his colorful tattoos of flowers inspired by fabrics he finds. His background in fine art informs his diverse practice of painting, sculpture, installation art, and tattooing.

An original founder of Yarrow Studio, he is now based at a private studio in Kingston, NY and occasionally travels for guest spots at Yarrow Studio in Brooklyn.

Christina (she/her) is a Colombian-American artist from Miami, FL. She received her Bachelors of Fine Arts at the Savannah College of Art and Design where she studied Photography, Graphic Design, and Fibers/Textile Design. She currently works as a full-time hand poke tattoo artist and illustrator but continues to express her creativity through design, photography, ceramics, crafts, and really anything that can get her hands dirty.

She is currently located in Austin, Texas and occasionally travels for Guest Spots at Yarrow Studio.
